June 14 Sunday - Tobermory, Bruce Penninsula ON

Stayed a second night at Tobermory, scuba diving capital of Canada, they claim...Very pretty harbour and village and nice old lighthouses to look at. At the campground....Go Carts and Mini Golf entertained Rhianna and James. With the lack of mountains, Parks Canada build look out towers here so you can climb to the top to enjoy the views, which we did last night and it was worth the climb to watch the sun setting over Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. We are now off down the Bruce Peninsula, following the Niagara escarpment all the way to Niagara.

Rhianna wants to be in Hamilton for the biggest water slides in North America for her birthday on June 19.

  1. Hey Guys. Great to see that the black flies haven't finished you off yet. Hope you guys hit Sauble Beach and Grand Bend on your way down. As well Stratford would be well worth a visit. Check out the Hamilton Botanical Gardens when you are there. Finally don't forget Aftican Lion Safari. Plus Canada's Wonderland.

We miss you guys. Not much happening here other then tons of sunshine. Ocean temp is 74 degree's.

  2. Hi Bruce, Yes Sauble Beach was amazing and we had it all to ourselves. Rhianna is 10 today and we are at Niagara Falls, fireworks at 10pm tonight for her, of course. Spending the day at North America's biggest waterslides. Great place to turn 10. Thanks for tips....keep them coming.
