The Fraser river (where we are camping) is l,375 km long ,the longest river in B.C and the tenth longest river in Canada.

Rhianna fascinated with having one foot in each country. Cycled along zero avenue to the Peace Arch Park and enjoyed a send off dinner with Graham, Jane and Owen. Heading out of the the Lower Mainland today.

Good Bye to Comox - Birthday Party & Packing

Getting Ready to leave Comox

Today is Rhianna's early 10th birthday party. A 1970's themed party complete with ABBA, Saturday Night Fever, disco ball and tie die shirts. Then the last of the packing and off to Pender Island on Sunday for a few days to visit our friends there. Rhianna and James are looking forward to a day at school on Pender on Tuesday before we start off across Canada on Wednesday.

Sand Dollars & curly shells are packed and ready to be traded for spending money. A bottle of Pacific water is also on board to be ceremonially tipped into the Atlantic, 6 weeks from now.
